Calcined Petroleum Coke Backfill

INTRODUCTION

ASBURY 251-P calcined petroleum coke backfill is designed for use in critical deep well or conventional ground bed. The backfill lowers anode-to-earth resistance, provides a uniform environment for current discharge, and extend the anode's design life.

APPLICATION

ASBURY 251-P backfill is a calcined fluid petroleum coke manufactured to provide the lowest possible resistance for a calcined fluid coke. ASBURY introduces a conductive additive during the production process which lowers resistivity and improves the wetability. ASBURY 251-P is the superior choice for backfill in critical deep well or conventional ground beds when resistivity is the major consideration. The standard packaging for the backfill  is a 50 lb. multiwall bag.
