Zinc Alloy Anode

INTRODUCTION

Zinc Alloy Anode are cast from high grade zinc alloyed to ensure an even corrosion pattern, reliable electrical efficiency and long working life.  The anodes are cast to meet U.S. Military specifications U.S. MIL A-1800 I J and are resistant to the formation of zinc hydroxide around the anode surface, which restricts current flow and can shorten anode life.

Zinc alloy anodes are particularly suitable for ballast tanks and hull of ships, jetties and subsea pipeline applications in bracelet configuration. But the anodes are not suitable in high temperature environment of 50¢XC and above.
