| INTRODUCTION Casing seals are designed to prevent electrolytes from
forming in the annular space between a carrier pipe and casing. The seals are made from a
specially compounded synthetic rubber and is resistant to most acids, alkalis, and other
chemicals commonly found in soils.
APPLICATION
Casing seals can be used in numerous environments
to provide long-life corrosion protection and are available in a variety of diameters and
different configurations. They can be used with steel, cast iron, and copper pipe, as well
as thin wall conduit. Fireproof casing are available for situations requiring fire
retention. All casing seals have stainless steel bands and clamps and require no special
tools for installation. |
